What the figures count
Direct is the company's own cost before depreciation: the power bill and the other direct mining costs it counts, except IREN's and MARA's figures, which are electricity only. With depreciation adds the wear on the machines and whatever else the company counts, in its own words in the figure's card; spot is bitcoin at $79,989 on Sep 6, 2026. 7 companies report a direct cost and 4 a cost with depreciation, of 18.
Against spot, each cost is compared with the Sep 6, 2026 price.
