Public reading stays anonymous to this site. An optional account keeps your chosen watchlist, holdings and email settings.

Public reading keeps five things, and here is where and why.

1. Hosting. The site runs on the publisher's own server through a Cloudflare Tunnel. Cloudflare processes network addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy policy. Operational diagnostics are separate from the page counts below.
2. Page views. A first-party collector counts public page navigations in a local database on the publisher's server. It keeps the minute, public page path, external referring host, country supplied by Cloudflare, and coarse device, browser and operating system groups. Query strings, fragments, full referring URLs, raw network addresses, full browser identification strings and account identities are not stored in analytics. Private and owner pages, owner visits and known bots are excluded. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable collection. No analytics cookie or browser storage is used, and no analytics request goes to a third party.

   Daily visitors are an estimate from a keyed hash of the network address and coarse device groups. The random key changes each UTC day and older keys are deleted. Shared networks can merge people, and changing networks or browsers can split one person. Totals across days sum daily estimates, rather than count distinct people. Without trusted network headers, the visitor estimate is unavailable. Page counts and daily hashes are retained for up to 90 days, pruned hourly while the server runs and when it next starts. The publisher alone can read the dashboard and aggregate exports. These counts are never joined to account records.

3. Two preferences and a date. The theme (light or dark) and the density of the home table are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device, so the site looks the same on your next visit. So is the time the offer of a free account last opened, so it does not open again for 14 days. They are never sent to the site. Clearing site data in the browser removes them.
4. An email you send. If you write to [email protected], your address and what you wrote stay in that mailbox as correspondence and are used to reply. They are used to reply, not added to a mailing list.
5. Your tier list ranking. If you rank the miners on the community tier list, your placements are kept under a random id, and that id lives in a cookie named mt_tier_ballot that lasts one year, so your ballot and the other readers' results show on your next visit. Nothing else is kept with it: no account, no name, no address.

Public reading needs no account.

1. Reading public pages needs no cookie, except the community tier list, which keeps your ballot id in a cookie (mt_tier_ballot, one year) so your ranking shows on your next visit. Signing in uses an encrypted, HttpOnly session cookie that expires after 30 days; sign-in also uses temporary security cookies.
2. No comments, and nothing to register for in order to read. Every page on this site, every company profile and every figure is open without an account. The free account described below buys delivery and memory, never access to a number.
3. No advertising, no tracking pixel, and no script or font from another site. The page-view collector is served from this site's own address, and every request a page makes goes to that address.
4. Analytics are used to understand overall traffic. Daily hashes are not linked across days or to accounts, and the site does not build a reading history for an identified person.

The account, the two emails, and how to stop either.

When sign-up is available, ask for an email link and click it to verify your address. There is no password. The link lasts 15 minutes and works once. The form stays disabled until account services are available.

What is kept about an account: the email address, the day it was made, which of the two boxes were ticked, the day either was unsubscribed if it was, and the list of companies chosen on the watchlist. If you choose Save inputs on Portfolio scenarios, the position names, categories, USD values, hypothetical moves and save time are also kept. These records are stored with Neon. No personal name or password is requested, and account records are not joined to page-view counts or sold.

Portfolio calculations run in your browser. Editing does not upload holdings; Save inputs does. Load saved retrieves your account's saved copy, and Delete saved removes it immediately. Account deletion also removes saved holdings. Holdings are not included in page-view counts or marketing messages. This site does not connect to a brokerage or place trades.

The two emails are separate consents, and one does not turn on the other. The weekly digest lists the week's filings, insider sales, HPC and AI deals, production updates and new articles. The watchlist alerts go out when a company you chose resolves one of its guidance statements or one of its insiders files an open-market sale. Every message carries a link that stops that one mailing in one click, without signing in, a second link that stops every email, and the publisher's postal address, as US law (CAN-SPAM) requires. Stopping the mail keeps your account and your watchlist. Account deletion removes the identity, watchlist, saved holdings, consent, unused links and identifiable mailing records held by this site, and invalidates its sessions.

Both are sent from [email protected] and any sign-in link from [email protected], both through Resend, which receives the address and message for delivery. Queued message content is removed by daily maintenance after 30 days; delivery receipts remain to prevent duplicates until account deletion. Already delivered messages and service-provider records are subject to their own retention.

Unverified consent expires after 30 minutes. Expired links and pending records are removed by maintenance or later link requests. Abuse protection uses a keyed, hashed network-address bucket, eligible for cleanup after one idle day; no raw IP is stored in the account database and the bucket is not linked to an account.

Optional referral attribution.

When referral attribution is enabled, a code on the sign-up form can credit a referrer after a new account verifies its email. A short-lived signed ticket carries the code through the email link without putting your raw email address in the callback URL. The database records the account ID, referrer ID and verification time. It does not track pages read or change mailing consent. Only authorized operators can see the signup totals; referrers do not receive your email address. Account deletion removes its identifiable referral records. Paid commissions and payouts are not active.

Links to sources leave the site.

Every figure links to the document it was read from, on sec.gov, a company's own site or a newswire. Following one of those links leaves this site, and the site you land on keeps its own logs under its own policy.

Ask for a copy or deletion of your account.

Write to [email protected] from the account address to request a copy or deletion. The request is verified before account records are changed. You can stop either mailing immediately using the unsubscribe link in that message.

This page changes before the site does.

Page counts began on Sep 22, 2026. This revision replaces hosted analytics with a private local collector and describes optional account storage, session cookies, mailing delivery and erasure.
