What the price did after past filings

History only: how a miner's share price moved after its past filings of each type, counted from the day the filing was accepted.

This table describes what already happened after past filings. Past moves say nothing about what the price will do next. It is not a prediction, a signal or advice. Moves include everything else that happened in the same days, such as bitcoin, the market and other news.

This is history: moves that already happened.

Filings counted is every filing of the type found from Feb 14, 2000 to Oct 14, 2026. Each median says how many of them it covers (n); the others fall under the reasons in Filings left out.

By company

The same counts for one filing type, one row per company with at least five filings. Rows are in alphabetical order.

Every filing found is counted in one place or named here. A filing can be left out of one window and kept in another.

Method and sources

How a filing is matched to prices
  1. Filing types are annual reports, quarterly reports, 8-Ks by item, offering supplements (424B5), foreign filer reports (6-K, one row, no items) and Schedule 13D or 13G reports. An 8-K with several items counts once under each. Form 4 and amendments are left out.
  2. The day of a filing comes from the time the SEC accepted it, in New York time. Accepted at or before 16:00 on a trading day, the day of the filing is that day. Later, or on a day with no trading, it is the next session. Sessions are the dates in the company's own price series.
  3. A move is the percent change in the close from the last close before that day to the close on the day, 4 sessions later (5 sessions in all) and 19 sessions later (20 sessions in all). Only daily closes exist, so nothing shorter than a day is measured.
  4. Bitcoin is measured over the same calendar span, from its close on the baseline date to its close on the last date. The last measure is the share price move minus the bitcoin move, in percentage points. No model, no regression and no test sits behind any figure.
  5. A filing is left out of a window when another counted filing by the same company falls inside it, when the window runs past the last close, when the baseline belongs to an earlier company under the same ticker, when the closes have a hole of more than seven days, or when a one-day move of more than half up or a third down in the window has not been checked against a second source.
  6. A median shows only when at least 8 filings of the type are counted in the window, and a company row only with at least 5. The middle half runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile of the moves.

Where the prices come from
  • Bitstamp BTC/USD daily close (UTC)
  • Yahoo Finance daily closes read once through the yfinance library, split-adjusted (the years before the daily history)
  • Polygon.io daily aggregates, on the present share basis (read as traded and adjusted for each split since Sep 25, 2026; split-adjusted when read before)
  • Yahoo Finance daily bars through the yfinance library, read once as the adjusted close: for splits, and for dividends where one was paid (backfill only)

Closes from Yahoo Finance come through an unofficial library and cannot be reproduced from a documented endpoint. The page shows derived percentages, not the closes. The filings are public records on SEC EDGAR.
