Place named in the filing
Denton, TXlocated at the centre of the county land parcel it sits on

The point is the centre of this county land parcel, not the building. The parcel is about 158 acres and the site is somewhere on it. Parcel 984633 in Denton County, Texas (owner of record City of Denton, about 158 acres), from the Denton Appraisal District roll as published by TxGIO. Core Scientific's own 8-K says its Denton data center, at 8171 Jim Christal Road, is on property owned by the City of Denton and leased to Core Scientific. A lien schedule that Core filed with its bankruptcy plan supplement describes the Denton data center project property as 8161 Jim Christal Road, parcel ID 984633 (its filings print 8151, 8161 and 8171 for the same project). The county record for parcel 984633 is a lot of about 158 acres owned by the City of Denton, the Denton Energy Center lot. Site match: Core leases about 64 acres on part of that lot, and the pin is the centre of the whole lot, so it is not the data center building. The same lot holds the City's own Denton Energy Center power plant, about 180 to 200 metres from this point. The county's later records split the lot into the plant's own tax account, which contains this point, and separate accounts for the rest of the lot, so the land Core leases may not include the centre of the lot.
